What failed launching on five platforms at once

Launch day I posted on Product Hunt, Hacker News, Twitter, LinkedIn, and three Discord servers within two hours. I thought volume would compensate for weak fit. Everything underperformed. Comments scattered, support DMs piled up, and I couldn't tell which channel drove signups. Analytics was a mess of UTM tags I forgot to unify. Now we pick one primary channel per launch and one secondary. We prep assets for a week, launch where our users already hang out, and actually respond. Multi-platform spray felt productive; it was just noise.
