For weeks, Bing Webmaster Tools' AI Performance report showed zero citations for my site. Then on Oct 8 it jumped to 147 in a single day, followed by 120 and 124. That's 391 so far, from just one or two pages.
What stood out: the questions behind those citations didn't mention my brand. They were generic category questions like "best ai visibility analytics tools".
The lesson: AI visibility isn't about people searching for you. It's about showing up when they ask about your category.
If you haven't opened it yet, the report is free: Bing Webmaster Tools → AI Performance.
