I hated writing release notes manually and skipped them, so users missed fixes. Now PR titles follow a simple prefix—feat, fix, docs—and a GitHub Action aggregates them into a draft post. I edit for five minutes, publish to changelog and email. Users trust us more when they see steady improvement documented. Automation removed guilt, not voice—I still humanize the summary.
